Board Directorship
As an accredited board director from the Singapore Institute of Directors (SID), I have had the privilege of serving on the board of organisations in Singapore. I bring over experience and perspective on risk and growth.
What inspires me to serve?
It is the constant challenge, the push for the solution to some of the clients' (and sometimes the industries') problems to help improve the firm's profit, service, product and positioning that really spurred me to serve.
I believe that many firms in the market can gain the ability to service their stakeholders better, and in turn, help improve the lifestyle of its stakeholder and consumers in society. I seek to influence that change, to make that difference, that impact, in organizations.
I also enjoy the intellectual stimulation that comes with integrating a diverse set of perspectives, by connecting the dots across marketing, operations, technology, finance, corporate governance and strategy to support organization on their growth path and transformation journey.
I have also come to appreciate the nuances associated with different ownership and corporate structures. In each interaction, it is an opportunity to make an impact - on the organisations and its stakeholders.
I am also the Next-Gen Asia-Pacific leader in NielsenIQ, committed to advancing the corporate annual agenda on multi-generational learning. I am committed to enhancing diversity - in all its forms - in the boardroom as well.
